The Mango Tree

Seafood and the atmosphere at this location is super good. the food was so savory. nothing but pleasant experiences here. reminds me of a restaurant in philadelphia that i enjoyed.

A top place for quality Seafood. Entered near nine, it wasn't busy. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. It has a good interior. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.

Only giving 3 stars because service was amazing. The décor is dated, it was confusing entering the building which way to go to enter, the food was some of the worst I have had. I had their special carrots... took one bite and spit the food back out. Another table sent their carrots back. We got prime rib. It was tough and had no flavor. We had a shrimp mango appetizer. It had a couple of shrimp and a lot of mango. But our server was amazing!!

Excellent! Both the service and the food were great. The steak was cooked exactly right and just on the plate smelled of char grilled meat in the best way possible, marbled just right and tender too. The chicken parm was ample in quantity and had great flavor. The green bean side was delicious. And the alligator chunks were a pleasant surprise. All in all a really great dining experience at one of Toledo's traditions.

One of my fav spots for quality Seafood. I was super full. The service was very welcoming and sociable. Prices are decent for the quality. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I loved.
