Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course

What a place to come and enjoy in the middle of Youngstown! Such a fun place always has great entertainment and amazing food! The slot machines seem to be winners.....sometimes lol I wish the horse racing was all year round! Will be back for sure. Also very very clean and safe place to make some bets!

I loved Hollywood when it first opened. After a while, it seemed like I could t hit anything. The last time I went I did break even. I started to go to Rivers because it had a more Vegas appeal, it after they get fined for underage drinking the machines tighten up. I only have a couple of complaints about Hollywood.
1. It needs to be larger.
2. It needs some regular Quarter, and Dollar machines out in the smoking area.
3. I don’t understand why this is a problem, but I like to bring my own cup in to gets my soda. I am conscious about the waste from the paper cups. I tried to bring my own cup in once, and was treated like I broke the law. I take my own cup to Rivers and The Meadows with me all the time.
4. Too too many penny slots. Not enough higher denominations.

I went there for my birthday, I didn't get anything special although I did have a great time. As a new member I did receive a free 20 dollars in free play and a chance to spin and get an additional 1000 dollars in play as well. The horse race was going on that day. They had a derby hat contest and seen alot of nice looking hats! Everyone was very helpful and made my trip there very pleasant. They have a smoking section where you can spin your heart out if you smoke and wanna play at the sametime. The food on the upper deck was smelling really good. They also had a little food court on the lower deck which is more like fast food place. They have penny slots and good variety of others to play. I did notice blackjack or other popular games there, but I just like the slots myself. If I had extra money I would definitely be back up there now. Maybe if I'm lucky there will send me some free play to my email address which you will need to get signed up for that 20 in free play. I would highly recommend this play to all!

Excited to have gotten to play for several hours and won $170. Appreciate the free play. I donated 100 so I feel good about coming home with something in my pocket. I like this casino because it isn't huge and there is a night selection of machines to play.
