Girves Brown Derby

Was here for a party, which I did not know they did. With the amount of people and the only two servers the service was great. Food came out at the same time and was all correct. Beverage service was right on, never went waiting for a server to come around. The restaurant did not have that overwhelming smell of the grill from using real wood, other Brown Derby's seem to have this.

Wonderful experience. The smell as you enter the door is sooo delicious and inviting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the salad was green and fresh!!

Great service by Jana! She was pretty busy but always made sure we were taken care of! Food was excellent!! All 4 of us had steaks, all cooked perfectly, scallops are to die for!!

Wow, what a great steak house! Really good value and service! The quality of food for the price is outstanding. We enjoyed our visit to the last bite. There used to be one in Kettering owned by the same people. Kick the national chain restaurants to the side and enjoy something locally born.

Good food biggest disappointment was the service. We visited at their slow time. We were seated right away. When our server arrived she seemed to be struggling to he happy. She got our drink orders and brought them out then took our order for the meal. Said she would be right back with our bread and salads. Close to 20 minutes later she finally arrived with our bread and salad. Still seemed in a poor mood. Our main course finally arrived about 15-20 minutes after our salad. By this time our server was in a much better mood and must have taken happy pills or something. Overall we were not overly impressed with our experience. Especially for what we paid.
