Lakeside Hideout

Lakeside Hideout is where Sunnyside used to be. My only complaint is they discontinued turtle soup. I would sometimes drive 2 1/2 hours JUST for turtle soup.

I ordered the tenderloin and the fries. The fries were perfectly fried and had salt and pepper on them. The tenderloin was the star of the show. They have grilled and fried. I ordered fried, obviously, because duh. The meat wasn't pounded out too thin and the breading wasn't too thick. The meat was tender and juicy and the breading was light and crispy! It was up there as one of the best tenderloins I've ever had!
My server was lovely and it was nice to sit outside by the channel and enjoy a meal and watch the farmers do their thing. The prices feel a bit steep for Mercer County, but I'll be back again.

Great place. They did an amazing job remodeling the building. They have put thought into what works for their customers AND employees. The new owners are fantastic people and fun to be around.

Great place we are lake locals and have this new place a try very good food and excellent patio . It was a lot better than the last place it used to be

We had several different items in our party of 8 and all food was done well. No complaints, but no dishes screamed eat me again. As it all seemed generic but good. My husband does love coleslaw, but he did not like the coleslaw here.
