The Forge

My girlfriend and I had a great breakfast here so we came back for dinner. The food is great! Sadly, our dinner server just wasn’t on top of it. We had a ferry to catch at 8 and we sat down at 6. You’d think that was plenty of time. I won’t go into all the details but by the end I had to finally go in and find someone to run my card at 7:45. She finally comes out like “of sorry I didn’t know you had to catch a ferry”. Yeah no kidding because you never asked us how we were, checked on our food, told us your name, or any other basic steps of service. For $100 check I expected a lot more. Really sad. We missed our ferry and it ruined our experience. I was a server for ten years and this is so simple and basic. Blah to say the least.

Absolutely amazing! We were looking for a place to eat at Put In Bay and were having trouble deciding. We came across The Forge and the menu looked good. We pulled up and the staff were great. We started with the truffle fries...WOW! Best we’ve ever had! Drinks were fantastic and our server/bartender Ashley was great! Absolutely coming back in the future!

The food was fantastic! We stopped for breakfast one morning and were very surprised how good the food was. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Put-In-Bay!!

stopped in for breakfast before catching the jet express and I can’t say enough great things about this place!! The best service I’ve ever had and the food was AMAZING and very affordable! Although they were super busy, the staff was extremely quick, kind, and did not panic. This was just another day to them. You could tell they were trained extremely well and worked wonderful as a team. Honestly blown away by my experience! Can’t wait to stop in next time I’m at the island!

I come here every time I visit the island. The breakfast tacos are absolutely amazing! The service is second to none. In a sea of restaurants from which to choose, The Forge is a cut above the rest. I will not eat anywhere but here for breakfast or lunch!
