Love fresh start eat there every time we go to NLQP

Staff has always been great here. I have enjoyed several breakfasts here and the fish fry.
The 1/2 order of sausage gravy & biscuit is enough for a meal. Love the ho.efries crunchy with onions.

It was Wonderful. Our first time there. We were with another couple and everyone's food was DELICIOUS.

Very good breakfast! Can’t speak to lunches; always there in the a m. One of the few places that can cook poached eggs and over EASY properly! Have gluten free bread too. Recommend!

I really wanted to like Fresh Start Diner. It has great reviews, and it's in a nice area of a nice little town. When my friends and I stopped by, I hadn't spent much time in this part of the country, so I wasn't really sure what to expect, but overall pleasantly surprised with the town!

The staff is super friendly, and it was easy to get seated and have our orders taken too! The menu has a fair amount of options, basically what you'd see in any average diner.

We got our drinks and had our orders taken relatively quickly, but my big disappointment was just how long we waited to get our food. There must have been 8 other patrons in the entire restaurant, making my group of 3 a good portion of the lunch contingent. However, though there weren't many customers in the restaurant, we still waited almost 40 minutes for easy breakfast/lunch orders. The food wasn't mind blowing, but also not bad. If not for the incredible wait time, this would definitely be a 4 star review. Come on, Fresh Start Diner, I know you can get there, but you can't get a second chance at a first impression!
