First, the good: I ordered a full slab of ribs and they were excellent! Friendly, clean and a nice selection of items on the menu. Also, the onion rings were very nice and the jalapeno Cole slaw was a nice change.
The not -so-good: We both ordered the mac & cheese. Nothing special and it was cold when we got it.
The baked beans seemed like they were straight out of a can. Kind expected more from a BBQ place.
Lastly, my wife wanted the beef brisket but they were out of it until Tuesday. This was on Saturday at about 3:30. She ordered the 8oz pulled pork entrée instead and only received about a 4oz portion. She is a chef and certainly knows the difference in portion size.
Overall, a little disappointing but since they've only been open about a month we'll certainly give them another visit.
Swung by for some Loaded Fries since I was in the area. Don't regret it! Good stuff! Excited to try the rest of the menu. Happy to have a place like this in Kent!
