Jim's Open Kitchen Too

Jim's kitchen is a nice little place for a quick bite to eat. There prices are moderate. The food is very good. The portions can be cut in half if your the type who doesn't like to get to filled up when your out and about. The wait staff is amazing and very personable

We come up from FL every year to visit friends and relatives. As always a good time, friendly staff, local flavor, good food. Love eating here with Dad. Also one in Solon.

Nothing special. We finally found time to have breakfast here, we have wanted to go for a long time and it always looked packed with people so today we were going no matter what. They offer a nice variety of items on the menu. The staff is very kind. Place is smaller but clean. I tried a half order of a combo breakfast that came with eggs, bacon and french toast. The husband got his as a full order with hotcakes. We ordered an extra side of sausage and a small order of biscuits and gravy to try.

It was ok. Nothing was spectacular though and we were disappointed for $35. The bacon was thin, light on flavor and similar to Oscar Myers, the sausage was boring. Not seared, no crust like you expect from a diner. The french toast was just french toast and the hotcakes were just hotcakes. Both were fluffy but nothing special. Maybe if we got some of the toppings they would be better but you can't get a true measure of the quality if it is covered with goo. As for the biscuits and gravy....well... again, nothing special. A little on the paste side, not a lot of flavor, pretty boring and bland.

This isn't a great place for us but people in the area seem to love it. It is a warm environment and nice people. If you want a simple basic breakfast then maybe you will like it. I wish they had more passion with the food. We don't to return.

Went for the first time for breakfast--service was FANTASTIC and the food was even better! Everyone in the area should stop by and enjoy some awesome food. The diner is a little small, but we got in and out quick on a Saturday morning.

Never had a bad experience here .The food is delicious every time and the staff is so nice. I recommend this place to every one I know all the time and when my family comes to visit, we come here to eat. You never leave hungry. Very good portions of food at a very reasonable price. This place is perfect for a cozy breakfast with loved ones or a fun lunch hangout.
