Taco John's

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I had low expectations. Around here Taco Bell reigns the Mexican fast food market. My brother in law used to talk about Taco John's all the time when he lived in Colorado. I tried it for the first time and I was actually quite tasty. I got the chicken quesadilla and taco with potato oles and all 3 were very good. Recommend at least giving it a try. The ladies working there the night we went were kind and fun as well. Good customer service is always a plus.

???? I couldn't tell you exactly why potato ole is the perfect food but there's no question that it is. If this place was any closer to my city I'd have some serious self control problems. Is it possible to love off of nothing but seasoned tater tots? I'm not sure that the answer would change anything, I'm still willing to take that risk.

Don't just stop for the potato ole though, get a side of potato ole while you're there. And maybe an order of potato ole to go while you're at it. ????

It's hard finding good food at a truckstop. But this Taco John's is amazing. Their food is so flavorful and it fills you up. Way better then taco bell.

Picture Taco Bell. Now swap out literally every ingredient with fresh and better tasting ingredients. You get this place. I loved it so much I bought breakfast here on my way to deliver a load and stopped by for a late lunch coming back!

Staff was great and helped us decide on items. Many choices, all made to order when you arrive. Salsa bar is a nice touch. Potato ole's were hot and fresh. I had the nachos. They used real cheese instead of just cheese sauce. Although the nacho cheese dip was also very good. Definitely will stop here again.
