The chicken on the buffet was good. Sides were not.

All the workers used to seem miserable, but I went there yesterday and things seem to have turned around pretty quickly. I have an interesting theory as to why this may be. For anyone who doesn't know, I have inside information that the former head manager named Melissa threw a massive temper tantrum and quit her job in the middle of her shift at approximately 12:30 pm last Friday afternoon, abandoning the restaurant and her employees like a baby in the trash on prom night. I always got the feeling they all hated her and now are relieved she's gone from their lives forever, never to be seen or heard from again. I can say personally If I was a worker there and I ever saw her again I would spit in her face for the way she left them. On the bright side her abrupt departure seems to have boosted morale for the time being.

Those of you leaving bad reviews here and elsewhere or those who love to bash fast food workers in general should try working in a KFC these days, it's not as easy as you think. I'll tell you all something you may not know. Fast food restaurants are basically modern day plantations with what the workers get "paid" and the amount of hard work they do with no appreciation or reward so you can't fault them if they seem run down, depressed or even straight up on the brink of suicide every time you come across them. With the amount of money KFC must spend to constantly run those annoying and honestly really creepy TV ads along with digging up dried out C-list celebrities like Reba mcentire to play dress up as the colonel every month, they should be able to pay their help more than the bare minimum. Especially true when greedy corporations like KBP Foods who owns the majority of kfcs in America dont let their stores run labor over 10% at any given time. I think the guys who run KBP Foods are probably just sadists who get sick sexual pleasure through making their employees suffer so horribly. All of that notwithstanding and my empathy for the workers aside, I went there the other day with my girlfriend and managed to have a great time, really just wish they'd play something other than that god awful country music in the dining area though. Don't enjoy hearing a guy tell a girl to "Take a ride" on his "Big green tractor" WINK WINK while eating my famous bowl, it nearly made me projectile vomit across the room. What I'm sure of is how some of you try to critique the service and food like you're Gordon ramsay at a 5 star restaurant in midtown Manhattan. You get your food given to you on a plastic cafeteria tray for christ sake. I feel sorry if KFC is your idea of fine dining but learning to lower your expectations of fast food places could go a long way in life.
