The Bridge Restaurant

Rather pricey with decent food. I wouldn't say it was fine dining but not casual either.

I visited with a small group from out-of-town on a Saturday night. The space is a lovely upscale renovation of a charming old downtown building. In particular, the lighting is creative and sets a fun mood. It was hard to choose an entree because there are a couple dozen excellent choices. Crab cakes ended up being delicious. Others in my group ordered the filet mignon or shrimp and grits. The drink menu was extensive. Service was attentive, although the timing between appetizers and entrees was fairly lengthy (that is my only criticism of the experience). They had live music when I visited, a singer with an acoustic guitar and a great voice.

Food was great. I had crab cakes. Other people in our party had the rib eye. Railcar chip appetizer was really good also. Nice atmosphere & friendly wait staff.

The burger - made over a hickory wood grill - might just be the best burger around the Dayton, Ohio area! The Kent's Spicy Chicken Sandwich was great too. You have to give this place a try!
