Applebee's Grill + Bar

Food is always decent, service is good. Prices are reasonable when you combine 2 for $22 entrees.

I've never been much of a fan of Applebee's, but we were in town on Easter evening and it was one of three restaurants open near our hotel.

I got the Chicken Wonton Tacos which aren't bad. DD1 got a mango lemonade which she enjoyed, and the fish and chips dinner, which again wasn't bad. DD2 got a strawberry lemonade which she also enjoyed, and one of the dinner salads with chicken. Again not bad, but not memorable.

Service was fantastic! We loved our waitress. Also the manager came by to check in. When our waitress left our check, she also left three bite size reese's bunnies. How sweet! We left her a big tip and wished her a happy Easter.

I probably wouldn't go there again since the food is not that great. But if I do, I am sure I can count on really good service.

I don't know if it was a one-off experience but I want too impressed with this place. The appetizers (wings and mozz sticks) were delicious, they just came out cold. Both our entrees were dry, as was the rice, and this 4 cheese Mac and cheese is the biggest sham of soggy noodles and cheese sauce I've ever seen. Good 'loaded' mashed potatoes. Amazing ranch though!
