Doug's Classic '57 Diner

My absolute favorite place to eat in Alliance. The food is amazing considering the incredibly low places. Probably the cheapest sit down restaurant in town. Would recommend the all day breakfast or the stuffed pepper soup.

Love coming here, and absolutely love the King Kong Deluxe Burger. Highly recommended. Great location, great atmosphere as well.

Burgers are really delicious, flavorful, and juicy. Fries are good. Cole slaw was ok. Staff were very nice. Has a very nice 1950's style atmosphere.

Haven't been here for over a year because of the bad cheese they started putting on their fries. Went here yesterday with the family and it was absolutely delicious again! Glad to see they brought the cheese back! And the rootbeer floats were also very good. We all left happy and full. If this keeps up it will be one of our regular spots again.

A year before: (4 stars): Quiet little place that has decent food and service. Most people go here for the nostalgia though. Neat decorations and oldies music.

The pizza burgers are good, as is the chili. Lots of other comfort food is good as well. We love sweet tea but we avoid it here. I wish they would bring back the cheese they had for the fries. The new cheese is not as good and we honestly come here less now because it was one of our favorite menu items.

Still one of my favorite places even if we don't make it here as often as we used to.

Quite an enjoyable meal! Had the gigantic fish slab with slaw and some home fries, and can't forget the chocolate malted shake! It's made from ice cream scooped when ordered, and served in the stainless shake blender cup, with the regular glass to pour it into. Doesn't matter the flavor, the shakes are the awesome way to polish off any great meal from there. It's all good!
