Burntwood Tavern Belden Village

One of my favorite restaurants. Always excellent food & drinks. Service was fantastic as usual.

The food was pretty good overall. There was a little too much pepper on the fish, though the fish was nice and crispy, tender, and juicy. The Ahi appetizer was very good. The staff seemed sullen. The only one upbeat and happy to greet us was the hostess. Our waiter was decent but may have been new as we had to ask for simple things like silverware after food was at the table. He did seem like he was trying though. Our experience was much better at the location in Cuyahoga falls. They were also out of the calamari appetizer early on a Friday night which was odd.

Stopped in for a work lunch. I Had the lunch combo with a Cuban sandwich and seafood gumbo. Both were great. We also shared an order of tavern tots. Staff was attentive while managing to also remain unobtrusive. Will return.
