Samantha's Restaurant

Outstanding place! I feel the need to offer some advice to the other (clearly confused and very unfair) reviewers:

1) The alleged 4% credit card fee amounts to roughly $1 on a $30 bill - if you can't afford that, maybe you shouldn't be eating out? It also has never been added to my bill (even recently), so there's that.

2) Be sure you're reviewing the Samantha's you visited. The location on Portage is FAR superior to the one on Market, and the service is always very friendly and attentive at this one.

3) It's a great place to eat - OF COURSE it's going to be busy! Understand that going in, and don't go when you don't have the time to spend!

4) Folks who like bland breakfasts probably ought to go elsewhere. Samantha's consistently offers the most flavorful, creative, and just plain WONDERFUL morning meals in town. It's why they're so busy! :)

Now, if they'd just make a tasty cup of coffee that's up to the superior standards of their entrees! (See also: ditch the bitter stuff you're brewing now!) Thanks!

Any local will recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat, I think that everyone in the area had fond memories here. As someone who isn't a local, the restaurant was alright. Far better than neighboring IHOP or waffle house, but not somewhere I would go out of my way for. This place is always busy, family friendly and had short wait times.

The food is always fresh & delicious. The servers are friendly and very attentive. I took off one star because they charged a small fee when I used my Huntington Bank Card instead of cash.
