Social at the Stone House

This is not your typical restaurant- it is a destination. There are many facets to the Social@ The Stone House ~ from the elegant dining in one of the exquisite rooms; to the luxurious bar (check out the gold-leaf ceiling!); to the casual elegance and comfort of the top floor known as the overlook. I've been there twice since opening. Once with my husband and once with a group of ladies to celebrate a birthday. Both times were wonderful experiences. The servers and mgmt are very attentive and upbeat. The hostess told us some interesting history of the home. It certainly has been restored to its former grandeur and then some!

The menu had more choices than I expected, and everything I got was delicious. The shrimp-wrapped sausage is a must have. I can't wait to try some of the other interesting dishes.

This will definitely be one of our go-to destinations for both special occasions and casual outings in the Lounge or Overlook. We are very fortunate to have something so unique and special in our community. Well Done!!

Excellent atmosphere and the food was extraordinary. My wife and I have date night every Thursday and we love this restaurant. Definitely rated as one of my favorites

This place is beautiful! The food is 10/10! Probably some of the best food in stark County! It's worth your while to stop here and a romantic dinner with your loved ones! Sienna is an amazing bartender too. Makes the drinks perfect everytime!

I brought my husband here for his birthday - wanted to try something new and different. We both agree it was our favorite local dining experience to date! The home is absolutely beautiful! Our reserved table was not available when we arrived so we headed upstairs to the third floor lounge. Passing through the second floor, there were no people there, but it looked as though that area is designed for small parties/meetings with larger tables set up in individual rooms. Made a mental note to look into hosting a small event here in the future! The third floor lounge is beautiful! Loved the first drink I tried (called Figure it Out) and stuck with that for the night. My husband had two other drinks which were also great, but we both thought the figgy drink is where it’s at - we’d return just to hang in the lounge and enjoy one (or a few) of those! Once our table was ready, we headed back downstairs to the first floor. The environment was very intimate yet spacious! The decor and woodwork are beautiful. We wanted to try so many things from the menu, so we each got an appetizer, dinner and dessert. Portions sizes are perfect, presentation was beautiful, and and everything we tried we would order again! My husband ordered the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. The service was top notch! Our server remembered that I mentioned it was my husbands birthday when I made the reservation, so she brought out his carrot cake (which he said was the best ever) with a candle in it. Lovely touch! Other than our table not being ready for about 45 min later than our reservation (due to the prior guests lingering in conversation) everything was perfect. And honestly, we are glad our table wasn’t ready because we probably wouldn’t have wandered up to the third floor otherwise. We’ve dined at other houses/mansions so I was really excited to see this one had opened so close to where we live, and I was looking forward to surprising my husband. My expectations were definitely exceeded in all categories: atmosphere, cleanliness, service, presentation…but above all else, the food. My husband was so happy with the experience and it made for a great birthday dinner. We will definitely return and we will be recommending this beautiful place to all!

Get away from the ordinary, and dine at the EXTRAordinary! What a fabulous experience in every aspect...From the hostess to the servers, and manager Robbie welcoming us and checking on us...and owner Sandy popping in as well! There are so many traditional and eclectic menu selections that we had a hard time deciding on just one thing, so our table chose numerous plates...All delectable delights! The historical setting and exquisite decor offer an equally impressive vibe...several themed dining rooms, 3rd floor bar & lounge, and the patio area. This is just what our are area needs! I highly recommend this restaurant (and I am picky!)
