John's Bakery and Cafe

I was unaware that Classic 57 had changed names/owners. Very much the exact same in every way for now. Same great food, fast, fast service, great atmosphere, and phenomenal waitresses. My sister bought me a grilled cheese and soup when I was terribly sick. It was amazing! The first food that I could eat in a week. The pies here are delicious. I highly recommend this place. Another homerun for Minerva!

The food is always good & plenty of it! Whether you eat a meal or just drop in for coffee & dessert. Always fresh & delicious! Service is friendly from the owners to the wait staff & hostess.
You may have a little wait on busy days, but the foods & desserts are worth it!

We stopped in for breakfast today and WOW! everything was delicious. I had steak and eggs and my husband had the Lions special. My sirloin was delicious! You get plenty of food and the prices are reasonable. They also have a delightful array of bakery items. The cinnamon rolls are huge and the butterscotch pie they were also 😋 we will be back!

With the owner change, we had hoped the quality and the promptness of service would also change. Unfortunately, it seems to be the exact same restaurant. The quality of the food is a disappointment. The prices are fine for the quality and it is a clean establishment though. You will wait too long of time for so so, standard food.

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was quite young, and have a deep appreciation for home cooked foods. This restaurant has recently been purchased by new owners who are very kind and have an objective to provide a relaxed and delicious dining experience for all of their customers. It will be so interesting to see the evolution of this landmark.

I loved my experience here so much for breakfast that I came back for dinner. Each time I was impressed by the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of preparation of the food. I will return many times, I'm sure.
