Variety's Restaurant

Affordable prices. Adequate service. And good food. I really enjoy this place been there a few times. The most recent time though the waitress was either overly busy or not having a great day ahead was lack in keeping up with us and food was a little slower than usual. Still not a bad experience by far.

Variety's is a nice homestyle restaurant with great choices and daily specials.

My wife's favorite is the Amish Turkey dinner which comes with fresh turkey off the bone, stuffing, mash potatoes and gravy. It is quite filling.

My personal favorite is the spaghetti dinner. It's not spectacular by any measure but it's tasty, not too expensive, and very filling.

My favorite part of eating there is the salad bar. Great choices from your regular lettuce and tomatoes to peas, potato salad, bean salad, cucumber salads, and so on. I've even had unusual items like hearts of palm (delicious) and green onion stalks. Made my breath bad but it was a nice change of pace.

Don't forget the soups of the day. I've had chicken noodle, clam chowder, cream of mushroom, etc. It's all delicious and satisfying.

Of course any small diner has its share of desserts. I'm not a dessert eater myself but they have a selection of pies, cakes, and other sweets.

My only complaint is that the restaurant is so small. There's not a whole lot of seating and some parts of the dining room are a little cramped. Same with the bathrooms, but they are always clean. A nice plus.

Overall Variety's offers good food with good value. I always enjoy eating there.

Our server Amy S. was terrific. She's very on point, professional but laid back at the same time. I ordered the smothered chopped sirloin with mashed potatoes and both were great. Salad bar is a great bonus and it's stocked very well. Interior furniture and decoration are very dated like something from early 2000s but the place is well kept and very clean. No complaints here!

Great little hometown restaurant, the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Nice lunch spot. If anything, go for the salad bar! Delicious and fresh.

This restaurant is FABULOUS. Always enough food to take home for another meal. Delicious soup & entrees. Huge selection to pick from makes it hard to choose.
The staff is amazing, friendly, helpful, always go out of their way to help.
