I had the pretzels with beer cheese and the moscato. Both were delicious! The moscato had a crisp flavor and peachy aftertaste. I highly recommend it.
Great food, big burgers for the kids. Pumpkin beer is delicious! But what will bring me back when we are in the area is the hospitality. Setting up the two big kids at the TV with cartoons helped a lot while I was trying to eat and take care of the baby. Probably the most relaxed meal I have had in months.
We ate dinner at Akronym Brewing this past Friday night and were lucky to have great weather so we sat outside. We enjoyed Anything But Corona and High Street Wheat with Blackberries. So so good! Our reuben and hot honey ham and swiss sandwiches made for a delicious dinner with our beers! We were staying at BLU-Tique Hotel which is a super quick walk around the corner to Akronym!
Sunday Brunch at a Brewery?? Akronym hit it out of the park. You can tell they care and take pride in what they put out there.
Having a very small corner, a brunch menu has to be challenging and very easy to put out less good food. That is not the case. The chef took pride in what he put on the plate. Taste, presentation, value, and everything else about the meal was perfect. Everyone at the table said the same, tasty and perfect. While the brunch menu is small, you can find something for most people.
Not only was the meal wonderful, so were our drinks. The guys behind the bar were extremely helpful and friendly. Giving suggestions, answering questions and helping everyone get what they liked. The drink menu was not just beer, they have wine and spirits as well. Something is there for anyone.
Decided to stop in when visiting the local comic book shop down the street. Excellent selection of in-house beers and nicely crafted cocktails if you're not into beer. Sampled food from the Sunday brunch menu and had the best French Toast I've ever had! Will definitely be going back as they are opening a biergarden soon!
