Barrelhouse

We visited the Barrelhouse in mid-October and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Each of the dishes were ordered were cooked to order and far surpassed our expectations! The build your own burgers had a very long list of selections, making it possible to choose healthy alternatives or try something you’ve never had together! The shotgun shells are a must-have if you’re considering an appetizer. The only downside was the delay between ordering our meal and having it come to our table. We realize the restaurant is brand new and staffing is challenging right now, but the quality of the food was well worth the wait!

I did a BYO burger, I had lettuce instead of a bun, and my protein was chicken. Very small portion of chicken. My husband had BYO with smash beef patties. It was a large portion, but just ok. The side of fries we split, they were frozen. Unfortunately, nothing special here. We heard good reviews, and we were looking forward to trying. Definitely disappointed. Service was fair.

Reasonable prices for Sharable Small Plates. Crab Cakes were authentic, not loaded with filler, Ahi Tuna was tender served with a lightly fried avocado, finally the cauliflower plate was delicious. I shared these small plates with my wife. We each had a draft beer, and shared a dessert of chocolate/ peanut butter pie. We were full. Next time I might pass up the dessert for a shot of bourbon, as they have a wide selection.

Server was super friendly, attentive and helpful in selecting something yummy to ear. $2 roulette beers! Awesome fresh fruit pureed drinks! Highly recommended the cauliflower steak and pork Belly over corn pudding. Will be back!

Excellent food! The whole table was very happy with our meals and really everything about our experience! We had friendly staff, great service, yummy food all in a comfortable, pleasant atmosphere. We felt genuinely taken care of and will definitely be back!
