Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Some Cracker Barrels are Better than Others. This one needs improvement. Cracker Barrel decor is dark -- as if you were dining in the bottom of a barrel. All the chain's restaurants are this way. They seem to differ in food quality. This one fell short. The meal was not bad, but I have had better at other locations. As far as chain restaurants go, this a lot better than others, like Bob Evans.

It was the day before mother's day and I was not surprised that cracker barrel was very crowded. Generally I am very happy with cracker barrel's food. Today my fish was burned on one side pretty bad. Still, their track record is very good and I would recommend cracker barrel to anyone who hasn't been there.

Didn't expect to get shopping done for my mom's birthday but CB is darn clever to give me something to do while I wait.
Since I killed 2 birds with one stone, I think I'll go there for brunch today and get my Mother's Day shopping done. Perhaps you should too. (food and service are consistently good, btw)

The food is always good, the service is always adequate, the dollar value is tough to beat. I love the decor. It's always a fun place to eat!

The food, atmosphere and service is always superb. The store always has new fun merchandise along with old favorites. The restrooms are always clean and the feeling of the place is cozy! I love going here. On the rare occasion my food isn't what I expected, they fix it without a single complaint or question. In several years of going every other Saturday, my order only had to be sent back twice in about 5 years. I think that is more than fair, cooks are human too! I suggest this place for some "stick to your ribs, comfort food". Love this place.
