FlipSide Hudson

Got there on a Thursday around 7pm with low expectations of getting a seat anywhere without a long wait. Surprisingly some people got up from the bar and we sat right down. Very unusual but I'll take it. Food was excellent and drinks that night were poured strong which is great. Our server was a bit distracted at times but really enjoyed myself so can't complain. Overall this place is hit or miss as far as getting a seat without a crazy wait, but it's hands down the best burger joint around these parts.

We visited for lunch on Good Friday and thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips Friday special which was offered during Lent. The malt vinegar aioli served with the thick portions of perfectly battered and fried cod was wonderful. I wish they would keep this on their menu since it was possibly the best fish and chips we have had, and we travel a lot. The service was fantastic and friendly. I definitely want to go back and try their burger and sweet potato fries, which also look great. The vibe is upbeat and friendly at FlipSide and the decor and bathroom was nice and clean. They had a good crowd of people and still managed to get our food to us quickly. We were impressed overall.

This is my favourite "high-end" burger spot. The burgers are constantly excellent, my go-to is the Forester but lately I've been trying out the monthly specials. Fries are outstanding. They have a pretty extensive craft beer list.

Flipside ended up be a great dinner meal for the four of us. The burgers were still prepared and quality was excellent. A great local beer selection offered tasty compliments to the savory fair. The server was sharp and tentative, always quick to check in and pleasant. Great place to get a yummy burger anytime - with the limited choices in Hudson, this stacks up in the top 5 options.

Fabulous drinks, fun burgers! I'm a huge fan of the Hudson area - quaint shopping, beautiful streets, and kind people. Flipside is a great addition to an already wonderful town! Service was so nice, drinks were delicious, and burger (got the Californian!) Was great
