Winking Lizard

Just needed to find a place this afternoon to go over some work materials and thought I would try the Winking Lizard. Spent over 2 hours at the booth they provided me and the waitress was so wonderful. She never rushed me. I was able to accomplish what I needed and have a great meal. I even had to step out to make a call and when I returned she was funny.. She mentioned that I was finally back and that my beer was probably warm now. I hope she was being funny, anyway. I played a few songs then when I was ready to leave, I asked her if I could get a coffee to go. She said, "sure, will a kids cup be alright?". I said yes but was not aware it would be the thin, I mean Uber thin, plastic cup it was. She tripled the cups but man was it still hot ???? so I grabbed a few napkins and made it to my car and transferred it to my travel mug without a problem. So all in all, another great experience at this particular Winking Lizard. I have gone twice now but being new to the area, I now know I have a place I can go to either get a little work done or to just relax and watch a game on one of the several TV's they have. I'll be back and if ya read this far, I highly recommend a visit to the Macedonia Winking Lizard.

I like the lizard, have generally been pleased here. My wife and kids however, not so much.
On the positive side, they have a very expansive beer list. And seemingly countless screens with whatever games are on.
The menu is fairly wide, all of the expected "sports bar" faves are here. Their monthly special items are generally quite good.
The wife and kids have been disappointed by their burgers. That's a fair criticism, considering that they arrived BBR. And the mac & cheese side was pretty lame.

Love the lizard! Really good burgers, decent prices, service was good... Can't say anything bad about it except for the other customers that were seated next to us but I can't fault the restaurant for it.

I ordered a steak and asparagus salad. The steak was excellent but there were very few "pieces" of asparagus and the croutons were forgotten. Not what I expected. The large group of people I was with all enjoyed their food, one said his hamburger was sensational! The waitress is pregnant ????and extremely nice and attentive. I wish I would have asked for the croutons and a little more. asparagus. Still 5 stars...I really LOVED Miss Pickles!
