Belgrade Gardens

Great food. I love Barberton Style chicken. The hot sauce is the best. I've been visiting Belgrades since my youngest memories. I must admit, it's a bit crazy to pay $21.00 for a 6 piece chicken dinner. This would be my only complaint..

Amazing food and amazing service. The chicken is the best. The chicken paprikash is just like my great grandma used to make. If you're looking for authentic Serbian food, this is the place. I really just can't get enough of their food.

Mixed feelings.. chicken was ok, not much taste to it but was juicy and not greasy. Whipped potatoes were bland but the gravy was okay. However, the french fries were the star of the show. Hot, crispy but not too much, reminded me of fair fries, but cut larger.
The atmosphere needed allot of help. The single square carpet tiles were very obvious to a point it looks tacky. Speaking of tacky, the linoleum or tile floor in the main entrance of the restaurant, when not on the big floor rug, was so sticky it made a horrible sound as both my shoes stuck to it. I actually had to go to the restroom and use a wet paper towel to wash the bottom of my shoes. No doubt, this is a huge reason why the carpet looks the way it does.
Overall, not that impressed. I took my kids here to show them where I worked when I was 16, and it has really gone downhill.

Very good food (this is a Barberton-style fried chicken place for the most part). Reasonable portion sizes, friendly and efficient waitresses. Hostess today, however, a younger woman, seemed clueless--left me standing right beside the "please wait to be seated" sign for five minutes and finally asked if she could help me (duh). Cashier was cashing people out next to her, and being a senior staffer should have tasked the hostess to seat me promptly. Would be four stars if not for that--you need to greet customers promptly with a welcome and a smile, people--train your junior staff better and assure a friendly welcome and you might get more business.

Food is really good if you like Barberton chicken. A bit on the pricey side is the only thing. $11-$17 per meal depending on if you want small or medium meal (2 or 3 pieces of chicken). Decor could use a little bit of updating too.
