Stopped here for dinner one night while in Marysville on business.

    Food: 8/10
I ordered the fish and chips as this is what this place claims to be known for. I was skeptical of how fresh fish this far inland could really be but I was pleasantly surprised.

I am originally from a place that prides itself on fried fish, and while this isn't quite to that level I found it quite satisfactory and reminiscent of hone. The chips, which were essentially steak fries, were a bit soggy, but I'll chalk that up to faithfulness to the clasic British version.

For a few more dollars you can make the fish and chips all-you-can-eat. It's a lot of food to begin with, and adding a third flank of fish is really overkill. Avoid the temptation

    Drink: 10/10
Beer was fresh and well priced. A good selection of different local and national breweries and various styles. Good happy hour deals.

    Atmosphere: 6/10
The old school pub styling is quaint, but I cloud do without the greeter yelling "Welcome to The Old Bag of Nails" at the top of their lungs to everyone who walks in. The place was busy considering it was a Wednesday, full of older businessmen. This all equated to a rather voluminous cacophony in such a small space. I wouldn't come here with the plan of having a long conversation as the overall volume of the place would hinder that.

    Overall: 8 / 10
Definitely a good option for a place to stop in for a beer or a bite of food. I wouldn't plan on coming here with more than 2 people unless you call ahead.

Great gem of a restaurant in Marysville. Was a bit concerned to get fish so far inland but this place was on point. Brianna was our waitress and gave us the run down on the Fish & Chips all you can eat for $2 more. Highly recommend for anyone whose a seafood lover or looking for a great small town experience.

It was a nice Pub, with fine clam chowder and good fish and chips. The decor was "old timey" and trying to look that way, but the looked worked for the pub. Good lunchtime prices $2 for a beer, and average prices for dinner (13.99 for fish and chips).
The staff was friendly, but not exceptional.
Overall, a fine place to check out if you're in the mood for fish.

Good atmosphere. Dark, but still lit at each table enough to read the menu and see the person across from you. Good date spot. Doesn't really seem to be the place to go to get healthy food, but they have a really good Ruben and seafood. Most importantly, they have malt vinegar for your fries.
