Easily one of my top 5 favorite restaurants. Food is always so creative and well prepared. I have never had a dish that wasn't anything short of amazing. In addition to all their classics, their specials and seasonal offerings are always out of this world. Cocktails are also amazing.

Cozy place to grab lunch or brunch on the weekend. I tried coffee and the chicken salad sliders and they were delicious. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Restaurant is well-maintained and nicely furnished/decorated. If you have a chance to look around, there's lots of great history to explore.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The historic nature of the place is very charming, and the food is really good. We come here every year for a gathering of friends from all over the region. The service is tremendous and the food delicious...especially the sauerkraut balls!

The Lamb is busy with their newest improvements. Made it a little difficult for some in our group to find close by parking, while the construction is still in progress. But we finally gathered our group for a birthday lunch. It takes our group awhile to find a time and place that works for us, but we did enjoy our meals while visiting together. The Lamb graciously gave our three birthday ladies the delicious Shaker Sugar Pie. I believe a couple took them home to share with their spouses. If you're lucky you'll have a chance to have a slice of this specialty. Several st our table had the fried chicken. I opted for the fresh oyster Po'Boy w/ crispy steak fries. A few if us had the mushroom bisque, so very good we wished we'd ordered the larger portion. Hope we can gather their again when construction is finished, and then we can spend some time downstairs browsing in the great gift shop downstairs. I took a few minutes to go upstairs to visit some old familiar rooms that I remember from many times over the years. So glad we still have this piece of history to share.

What a delightful experience! The food was interesting with subtle flavors. Started with the famous sauerkraut balls. The presentation was attractive staked meat croquettes in a stainless steel container with two dipping sauces - cocktail and a delightfully hot mustard. But the meat croquettes were a perfect blend of flavors. The signature house field greens were another exciting blend of flavors with great texture - candied pecans were a delightfully opulent touch topped with shredded green apple and thankfully you are asked what dressing you want, as the salad comes with the complimentary dressing that neither overwhelms or detracts from the salad. The red pepper bisque was a third perfect blend of flavors. Even the bread basket was perfectly warmed rolls and a biscuit which came with apple butter, butter and an exciting relish with bacon bits. Perfect meals topped off with four stories of antiques. And even a clever T shirt was available. The service was fast and accommodating. Enjoy!
