Some of the best brisket you can get outside of smoking it yourself, according to my boyfriend. Food tastes pretty great and the inside is really nice. Definitely plan to come back!
Excellent and friendly service. The food was out of this world! Lebanon has needed a place like this for so long!
Food was good, all the meat was lean, not fatty, and well portioned. The service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is bright and engaging, with a spot for live entertainment. It has just enough space for some quiet tables, some tables near a TV, and some live entertainment. Salad bar looked well stocked but we didn't try it. Lastly, kudos to the team for providing compostable drink lids and plates. Would love to see real silverware but a step in the right direction for a new business. We'll be bringing the kids here when we need homemade dinner without the time investment. Great addition to Lebanon!
The staff is very nice the sit in area has a nice atmosphere and food is great, recommend the pulled pork and brisket and the sweet potato casserole delicious.
New BBQ joint opened up in lovely downtown Lebanon. Folks are super nice. Clean store. Seating for maybe 35-50 people inside. Does not feel cramped by any means. They have a tiny two person table on the sidewalk right outside the store but guessing they will add a couple more when it gets warmer? They have live music every Friday night. You walk in, go left to order, then walk back down to dining area. Salad bar. Coffee station. Sodas are Coca-Cola soda machine, two options for teas(sweet and unsweetened). So i picked up for lunch a 1/2lb of brisket and a side of cole slaw. Let’s talk about the brisket, if you love Texas staple of salt/pepper and smoked with post oak, you may not love this. Don’t get me wrong, it is delicious but it’s seasoned more like a very, very good pot roast. The funniest part is, the nice lady chopped this absolutely blackened end piece aside and I spoke up immediately that I wanted that. You can watch them cut/pre your food so this is the perfect time to speak up. She asked me if I really wanted it like she was going to toss it aside forever? The other nice lady states, you’re just like my husband, he lives that part. It was one of the best burnt ends I’d ever had. Think a fatty, melt in your mouth, meat candy. The cole slaw was pretty good, crisp cabbage, a little bit bland for me so added some spices here at the house. Don’t worry, I didn’t eat all the brisket, I left a few meaty bites for the lovely Mrs. I just adore these small mom and pop places, please go check this place out and support the local families. Next time, I’m going to see if I can talk to the folks running the smoker, ask about woods and smoke/cook times. Details to follow.
