Frisch's Big Boy

We went for the breakfast bar and half the stuff was empty. It was 12:30 and it's over at 1:00, but I feel if it's advertised until 1:00, you should be able to get the same food options through the entire thing. Almost out of bacon, out of sausage links, very few scrambled eggs, and the biscuits that remained were over cooked and hard. Our service was good, and I suspect if I had said something it would have been remedied, but time was an issue. We just wanted a quick, real breakfast.

The lady ( Carol )that works at dinner time and attends to the soup & salad bar provides EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. She's an older , visually impaired lady, and she doesn't let her disability stop her from working hard!
Carol is constantly putting out fresh veggies & fruit, and the various salads & soups.
Whenever I go up to the salad bar, she is friendly, cheerful , funny & she asks me IF what I'm looking for is full, and if it's not, she RUNS to her fridge, and fills up the bowl immediately. She knows her regular customers, and makes an effort to remember my name. She KNOWS that I LOVE the Seafood Salad, and she keeps it full & fresh! She's always happy & helpful to the servers, too.
Ive observed Carol bussing tables, cleaning bathrooms, picking up trash in the parking lot, seems like she can do it all.
When she is not in charge of the Soup & Salad Bar, I can tell by how the salad bar looks. Carol is a hard worker and she knows how to provide excellent customer service. (I didn't realize that she's going blind; until she mentioned it to me; after I told her that I was nervous about having cataract surgery. She shared with me that she, too, has had cataract surgery & that now she's going blind from glaucoma. She really gets to know her customers, and she's like family. She's friendly & she really cares.

This was my first time here and I must say that I enjoyed the food. I honestly wouldn't have minded giving this place 5 stars however the only complaint I have was the fact that it took them 10 minutes to even seat us and it wasn't even busy. I'm sure it's not like this all the time but today it was. However still a good time and I enjoyed myself. Wouldn't mind returning again at all in the future.

Frisch's has always been a favorite or my families! Whether you go through the drive thru or eat in the food is always good! My only complaint would be the size of things now. The garden salad is so much smaller then it used to be and you get the bare minimum of veggies. But the ranch is still superb. Overall a great place to eat!

We had to wait a while for our table even though multiple tables were empty. We ordered off the menu and service started out great. Food was a bit slow coming out. However, it was good. Didn't see the witness for a while after the food came out and had to ask for the check.
