Ugly Duck

Has potential because the food is delicious. We waited an hour for food to come out. Very dated and loud.

Either they saw us coming a mile away or they were that effeing good. Although pizza was special of the night we order various items off menu. Let me tell you that they know what medium rare is...best cut of meat I have had in a long time. Real onion rings and fair fries completed this meal. Had a few beers and wings. Wings also good. A quick stop turned into nice long time together. Staff...exceptional, personable, and hospitable. Thank you.

Love the duck! Great food, great people and best atmosphere. The cheese sticks are hands down the best thing ever. Wish I could come in more often!

Looking back over my previous review I realized I was more harsh than I intended. The Ugly Duck in Wooster Ohio is one of the friendliest pubs in the world. I have eaten at restaurants, cafes, pubs, and grilles in a dozen countries on four continents. I would rather have dinner at The Ugly Duck than at any of them.

I have often paid ten times as much for food only half as satisfying. If you order the pizza "dirty", no pizza in the world will ever please you again.

When I first started going to the Ugly Duck back in 2010, it was a poorly lit bar with an awful interior. Over the years there have been many improvements in both lighting and interior decoration, but the place really needs a thorough and proper floor to ceiling renovation. The menu is richly spiced with robust flavors. Mostly Italian, there are also some American-style south of the border foods like tacos and chili. The pizza is one of the best I have ever had anywhere in the world and the ribs are the absolute best I have ever had.
