Huge change from the old market grill. You've got a real chef serving real food. I gave the old grill 2 stars, this place was 5 stars when I went on a Saturday. Place was hopping.
Best food in Wooster by far!!!! Best fries I have ever had!!! They're sweet potato fries and parmesan truffle fries are AMAZING!!!! Love this place!
This is one of the oldest watering holes in Wooster. I am 63, and my father used to frequent the place, to wet his whistle. You can still do that, today, at this place. But over the last few years, food has been introduced. We go there several times each year. They have a small bar food menu (burgers, rings, fries, etc.) which is always good, but they always have three or four specials. If you want to experience the vibe of Wooster, this may be one of your best choices.
UPDATE
The place is now called Flamingo Jacks. The food lineup, now, is a bit funkier, based on the menu from a local food truck, of the same name. We dined there for the first time, tonight.
Decor is not changed much. The food has improved, based upon one experience. I had swordfish tacos. Three soft taco shells, filled with grilled, cubed swordfish, on a bed of fresh arugula, an topped with an awesome slaw. These may be the best fish tacos I've ever had. My wife had the Philly steak boursin rangoons. She reports she would definately order them again.
Absolutely amazing food and service.
Absolutely amazing surf & turf hamburger. The sweet potatoes fries are out of this world. To top it off, don't forget the cheese cake.. you won't regret it!! ???? Great service & the priced right. Delicious ????
