Service was very good and fast. We had breakfast and the breakfast good but did not care at all for the sausage way to spicy for my taste.
Great spot for breakfast in Bowling Green! Their country fried steak was delicious and reasonably priced. Stayed to work on my laptop and my coffee was consistently topped off. Impressive service and a great atmosphere!
The food is excellent, home-made breakfast and diner fare. Probably the best country fried steak I've eaten. Pancakes, waffles, home fries, roast potatoes are also good. Nice selection of omelettes too. They even serve drinks! A lot of food for the money. The only reason I don't give Everyday People's Cafe 5 stars is that the coffee is terrible. It's overcooked bitter diner coffee. Coffee seems like something they can improve easily enough.
This has become my go-to place to suggest when friends and family visit from our of town. The brunch specials are awesome - I wish they'd have their chili cheese fries more often. Only had them once last year and they were the best. The pastries are to die fir so if you're dieting, save it for a cheat day. The only drawback is they make it hard to substitute healthier options - on a previous visit I was told I couldn't substitute fruit for potatoes, for example, and they don't offer a whole grain bread - not every visit can be a cheat day, after all.
