Denise and Erin are my absolute favorite servers. I used to work here but had to quit due to issues that were continuing to occur. Anyways, I'm giving this rating because overall the setting of the dining room is homey and welcoming just like all Cracker Barrels but a lot happens in the back that you don't see between management and the servers. Maybe it's because it was my first serving job but the way we were treated was not acceptable. However the managers know how to fake it to customers and make them seem admirable.
Fantastic fried chicken on Sundays. I've always loved Cracker Barrel. Wait time wasn't long and they are always busy. Sometimes I feel the wait time isn't long enough because I like to look around the general store lol. Waitresses are always friendly. I just love going. Great place for a home cooked meal. Breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The best place for a reliable fix of comfort food. If you can get here when it's not totally crowded it's best. As national chains go, I find it consistent with the company formula. Quality and variety are pretty good- WAY better than any fast food chain. Especially during Lent, I really appreciate that there's haddock fish on the menu as it's superior to cod in so many ways.
As always, loved it, it is known for its country charm and array of antiques on the walls. Food is what great grandma would have cooked, with a southern flare. Something on the menu for everyone. While for waiting for your food you can sit in front of the giant fireplace and play a game of checkers. Feel what it was like back in "the old days". Did I mention the food is great too!
