Salita's Mexican Restaurant

Not bad for Durant, OK! I really wanted to give 4.5 stars, but it's all good. My quesadilla was delicious - the drink was alright. Service prompt and friendly. If you're in town, I'd recommend you go!

place was cold. The staff was very nice. It wasn't long to get my order. Food was very salty. I couldn't eat it.

Drove down to Durant from Tulsa to prepare for my move to Durant. First time eating here and had the best service! We asked to sit outside to enjoy the weather while we ate. The servers were very attentive but not hovering. The whole group was extremely professional and pleasant. I can say of all the years I have not ever had better service than I had here. To top It off the food was extremely good! I’ll be sure to be back!

My husband and I have frequented this place for over 10 years. Has recently been acquired by new owners. I will list some changes and how I feel about them:

Negative changes- I miss the old chips! But the new ones are fine. Also, the last 3 times we have visited the staff were friendly, however service was slower than we were used to. The sweet tea tasted different this last time, not as good as it used to be. Basically, I have to get used to change!

Neutral changes- salsa cups are smaller, but that's fine as they are bottomless. I can see how this reduces waste. Also drink cups are different, but that isnt really important in my opinion. Also they are trying some new American food entrees as specials and adding to the menu.

The good thing is our food was the same! Since this is still a local business, I believe we should try to support it and help it to stay successful! Change is hard to stomach sometimes, but it isn't always bad. We love Salita's!
