The Lokal Mustang

We have been to this location two times. We enjoy the food at The Lokal in Yukon and had a few issues the last few times there and decided to drive on in to Mustang. The first experience was great, food and service. This week we went on a day through the week around 5:00 pm, not busy at all. My boyfriend and I both ordered the chicken fried steak, the food did not come out together his came first and a few minutes later his daughter’s and I food came out. His chicken fry was burnt and could tell before he even cut into it, the manager did take it back and make a new one and boyfriend watches us eat as he waited for his food,, once he did get the food it was good. I thought the manager would take a few dollars off the order or at least something as most restaurants would do. The service was not great this time either, we had to wait for refilled drinks and my boyfriend always orders two beers his second beer set on the bar for awhile before being brought out to him and as I said the place was not busy. We do love the food and now we have the decision which location will we return to and try since we have had issues with both Yukon and Mustang Lokal..

We have eaten several times since they have opened. They have a varied menu and the food has always been good. Reasonably priced and a nice addition to our limited eating options in mustang

Great prepared food from some place called local. I got a Ruben with grilled squash and a salad. All were wonderful and delicious. I will return, the whole menu sounds good.

Wow, such yummy food! And it's in Mustang! Why the heck have I not been here before?! Such a groovy menu (seriously could have just ordered appetizers!), a great variety of local brews, and wonderful customer service! (that's a top priority for me, since I used to be in c.s. myself). Oh darn, I guess we'll have to go back a bunch of times so I can try everything on the menu😁

This was my 3rd visit to Lokal. I like the atmosphere. Bartenders were friendly and had time to chat as place wasn't too busy.

Had their chicken fingers for lunch. Quite large portion and served piping hot. Choice of 3 or 5 fingers ..... 5 are certainly shareable. Honey mustard dipping sauce was excellent.

Will surely be going back.
