Heartland Pub & Grill

The food was pretty good! We didn't have dinner plans and it was close. I had the garlic parmesan pub wings (really good), and my wife had a bacon cheeseburger (sans bun) and sweet potato fries. The fries were great (we shared) but the burger patty was a bit overcooked.

The atmosphere was interesting. Nice country pub feel, cool music playing, the staff was nice and courteous. Even though it's a pub there was a lot of family style seating, and the atmosphere is suitable for a family. The bar was in a separate section like at a Hudson's or something.

Overall not a bad little spot. I'll probably go again!

First time here. Menu has a lot of choices. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravey. Very large portions and tasty! I would recommend that if you want a quiet dinner this is not the place to go on Friday nights. They have a DJ come in for the bar side of the restaurant. Problem is the bar is open to the dinning room. It is so loud you cannot have a conversation.

During the day it's pretty nice. It all depends on what staff are there really. Some are the nicest people you could meet some can be rude and unpleasant. Sometimes they close the kitchen earlier than described online. Call before going in later at night to ensure it's actually open.

Food is great and drinks are great too. Noisy after 9pm.

Had to be ask to be seated. Went through 10+ set's of silverware to find 4 sets that were usable. Usually it's better than this, the food was good. The waitress was doing her best and was very nice. We will try it again, but was a disappointing experience this time around.
