Food was very good and was made fresh. Had the fried pickles and they were some of the best I have had. Biscuits were good and they provided apple butter and butter. Salad was simple but fresh. Drinks were good that we got and they were strong. Chicken tenders were good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience and will be going back.

Amazing first experience! Great food at amazing prices. All sides are refillable and shareable. The corn bread has an out crust with soft center and pairs amazingly will with the apple butter. Spicy tenders were very flavorful and moist.

We sat on the patio and the staff were very nice to our dogs and brought them a water dish!

Highly recommended and we will be returning!

Our first try and we will definitely be back. Ranch salad (unfortunately my husband doesn't like ranch and they don't have other dressing options), biscuits w/butter and apple butter, green chili corn and fried okra, we had chicken fry and Cajun chicken strips. Everything was so delicious. Our waitress was great and the manager walked around checking on us and other tables. We will definitely be back

Great food and great service! It is a must-try in Yukon! The family style dinners come with endless salad and biscuits (yeast biscuits I think), with apple butter packed with notes of cinnamon and cloves. I got fried chicken, but honestly it was hard to choose. You get two sides with your entree, and I went old school with mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans. Don’t be expecting ham hock and bacon grease in your green beans. I like that version too, but these were perfectly cooked with onions and seasoning. Yum! The meal was BIG! You get a lot for your money, especially in these hard times. Don’t neglect the dessert though. It is worth the extra full feeling you will get! I tried two to go - Buttermilk and the Derby Pies! Mouth-watering deliciousness! I WILL be back with all my friends, and I’m wearing looser pants next time!

We visited Paulines for the first time tonight hoping for a great new restaurant to add to our rotation. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Some things were really tasty and others, like the chicken, were not. The chicken we had (four pieces and strips) were strange. The pieces came out hot but the strips had been sitting a good while. But the most surprising things were the complete lack of crispiness and the flavor of what I believe was chili powder. I love chili powder in my burritos but I don’t think it works in southern fried chicken. I was expecting chip your teeth crunchiness and savory, salty goodness. What we got was leathery batter and a weird sweet chili flavor. However, the mac and cheese was very good. The biscuits are not buttermilk like you would expect, they were more like a baguette texture but very buttery. I think the okra was packaged but it was still good. And the gravy seemed to be homemade, country style and delicious.

I think this place could soar if it lowered the prices a bit and changed the chicken to be much more crispy. I never do reviews, I just vote with my feet and never come back, like most people. But I want to see this place become amazingly successful.
