Hidalgo's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina - Now Open

My family and I ate here about 2 weeks ago. I had the fish taco and they had fajitas. The fish was not seasoned, and I thought the tacos were a tad bit dry. I had to put some of the salsa that you get with chips on it, and I also added some avocado that came with my husband's fajita. This platter came with 3 fish tacos, 2 had cheese and one did not, so I didn't know if they were supposed to have any cheese at all. My husband and daughter enjoyed their fajitas. I liked the salsa, queso and chips, and I thought the service was excellent.

Excellent, there was nothing that I did not like!!! Walking in you see the mural on the wall and the sombrero lights. A large selection awaits you as the friendly staff serve you when you can munch on chips and amazing salsas (including an amazing jalapeno ranch). Then you food arrives and it looks good and tastes amazing. Food portions were good and it was well worth the price.

This is honestly the best Mexican restaurant I have been to. I arrived today and it was packed, but I understood the waiting because it seems like this restaurant is the talk of the Town. The service was very welcoming from the minute I arrived. The sweet hostess greeted my family and I and we did wait about 20 minutes. The food was amazing. The portions were good and the ingredients were so fresh. Our waiter Ishmael was very engaging and attentive, it really felt like we were taken care of. I really loved the murals and the atmosphere. I will be coming back for lunch soon!!!

I have known Emily LeRoi for several years and she does everything with excellence! She is committed, disciplined, determined, and an over-achiever with every task she takes on. With her being a manager now, you’re guaranteed superb service and details to be taken care of because Emily will make sure her customers are happy. She actually finds joy in serving others. She has a smile that is contagious and her positivity will keep you coming back again and again.
