Amazing! Great atmosphere and the best playlist ever! Personalized service and care. The food was very good, the spicy pork was my favorite, well seasoned and tender. Recommend!
We ordered couple dishes most of them were tasty. However the chicken gizzards and corn cheese portion was quite small for the price. But the most important is PLEASE provide real plates instead of styrofoam plates and bowl to your dine-in customers! We were scared that hot food would burn through the Styrofoam plates and cups.
I had the privilege of being able to travel and eat at many unique restaurants across the US, and I am very happy to say that this local business has brought something new to the OKC/Moore area has lacked that many other places, such as Texas, New York, and California, already have.
For starters, the server experience is very personable, even when the place can be very busy. The servers I had the past few times I went here were able to provide quick hospitality, and if my group were to need something immediately, we were one press of a button away to have our needs met as opposed to having our hands up helplessly. Not only do they do what they are supposed to as servers, but they are also very entertaining and friendly people. The customer service here was one of the main factors on what made me want to consistently come back!
Another benefit that this place has in comparison to a lot of other restaurants is that this place has late opening hours. This provides flexibility for night owls, late workers, and students, and I can personally attest to this. There were times where my cousin had late night shifts from P.A. school, and this location was one of the only places open by the time she was out, and we were more than happy to go here as opposed to our other options.
Finally, the food here definitely succeeds my expectations. I typically order the sizzling cheese buldak, the corn cheese, and the grilled spicy pork, and the place does a great job at consistency. The cheese for the cheese dishes were perfectly melted, and the sauces were definitely flavorful and savory. I ventured and explored more food items the other few times I was here, and I also feel like the japchae, the soondubu, and the skewers (especially the pork one) are also worth getting as well!
This is a really good place to have casual hangouts with friends and family, and I would *highly* recommend going with a group! Although the food individually is pricey, the cost is a lot more manageable when split as a group. This restaurant has a lot of room for potential and I can't wait to see its growth!
This family-owned restaurant is such a gem. I was fortunate enough to enjoy a weekend full of their food with my friends. Not only the food, but also the service created such a warm and friendly atmosphere. If you’re looking for a night with good vibes and good Korean bar food, Jjan Pocha is the first of its kind in Moore, OK.
The food in general was so good (especially their soups), but if I had to pick my top 3:
- Stir-fry squid
- Beefsprout stir-fry
- Seafood pancake
All bangers
If you’re newer to Asian/Korea cuisine, the kimchi fried rice and corn cheese are definitely great introduction dishes. I can’t wait to come back to visit, especially when alcohol is available after their soft opening phase. For the meantime, BYOB was a good time for me too lol
