Pie Five Pizza

Perfect place, perfect atmosphere, they still never manage to let me down. With quick service and delicious food and perfect desserts, you wouldn't want to leave this place, normally I wouldn't rate something so good, but this, this is completely different, it's Heaven for my stomach straight up.

If I go for pizza on 19th Street, it's usually Hideaway. But I tried Pie Five last Friday and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. There are a TON of customizable options (sort of reminded me of a Cool Greens "make your own wrap" but for pizza, if that makes sense) and the ingredients were high quality. The main downside is that the bottom of the crust was not very firm, so the pizza dropped whenever you help it up. I had a personal-sized pan pizza, so we're not talking about the pizza sagging under the girth of a giant New York style slice; this was a small slice, still saggy. That aside, the food tasted *great* and the atmosphere and staff were very nice and helpful. I will definitely eat there again.

Love, Love, Love Pie 5! They offer different sauces, you can get everything and the kitchen sink put on your pizza without being price gouged for every topping. Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and they offer suggestions if you need any. Just an awesome, awesome place to stop and get some pizza when you are craving it.

Califlower crust tastes like a thin pizza crust. Pepperoni was good, next time I will get more topping. Very busy, however, the staff was working hard to meet demand. Good lunch today.

I really like the topping options including caramelized onions. The pizza was very good, the sauce was fantastic. prices are a good value. My only complaint was even with ordering extra sauce there still wasn’t near enough sauce on my pizza. I will definitely be back again.
