We love this place! It is our new Friday night tradition. One of the best things about this place is that you get to see your pizza built before your eyes. It can get busy at times, but the staff gets orders in and out pretty quick.

Ordered the Jasper (spicy chicken sausage and mushrooms) and sadly they were out of mushrooms! I asked what they recommend to replace the mushrooms and got a blank look. Ended up adding olives and bell peppers. Pizza was great, the place was clean, well lit, and nicely decorated. Just a tiny bit disappointed that a pizza place like this is out of mushrooms!

We love Mod Pizza! This is a pizza joint a la Subway style which works really well. You order a crust by size and that is the price you pay regardless of how many toppings. They also have cauliflower crust as well as a "gluten friendly" option. You go down the counter and get whatever toppings you desire. There are a variety of sauces and toppings to add to your order. When they call your name you pickup up your pizza fresh out of the oven. You can also order a salad off the menu or build-you own. The quality ingredients are all fresh. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the wait time from order to table is very short. Very efficiently managed.

The company is very community minded and I love their hiring philosophy. From their "About Us" page on their website: "From the beginning, we recognized there are people in communities who are often overlooked and face real barriers to employment. By providing opportunities to people formerly incarcerated, individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD), Opportunity Youth (those between the ages of 16 and 24 who are not in school and not employed), and those who have struggled with homelessness or are recovering from addiction, MOD strives every day to foster a sense of opportunity and belonging."

Highly recommend you experience The Mod! You won't regret it.

Our family recently ate here. Our pizzas and bread sticks tasted good. However, the staff was very picky on how much of a topping they would put on. Each staff member had their own amount it seemed. Our kid pizzas literally had 1 pepperoni per slice. My wife's pizza barely had toppings she asked for. It looked like you could see more crust than cheese or toppings. My Mad Dog pizza had a decent amount of toppings but a different staff member did mine. Seemed overly priced for what we got.

Really it’s 3 out of 5 stars but considering there’s nothing really bad about it and it’s only $10 for unlimited toppings on a pizza that’s only slightly smaller than a regular medium, you gotta consider value for money. Plus that fountain Dr Pepper was amazing - so crispy and spicy! I would come here just for that. And you may like it for the social fast casual atmosphere (seat yourself inside or outside) which doesn’t matter to me because I take my food to-go.

But this pizza really isn’t anything special. Sauce tasted a little watery and the whole thing was fairly bland and crust was a little droopy. Nothing awful though but not much reason to really come back too often. When treating myself to pizza I’d rather go somewhere more satisfying.

The cheesy bread tasted off. Tasted weird. It was not good so I couldn’t have more than a couple slices. The sauce side for it was refrigerator cold too which was jarring - and there was barely enough in there for 3 sticks. Just enough for me to give up on it altogether and throw it in the trash.

And all they sell for dessert is dingdongs.

I was expecting Blaze Pizza but that’s not what this is. Similar but not quite the same caliber.

Staff was friendly enough. Super busy but the line moved along. Took 20 minutes from the time I got in the building to the time I got back to my car with pizzas in hand. But since the process takes multiple steps, it keeps you busy enough that you don’t notice the time so much. I’d say it was timely. I ordered mine to-go.

If you’re not familiar with how places like this work, it’s like Subway: You go to the first employee and they ask what you’d like (they have 3 options - pizza, salad, and 1-size of cheese bread). The next person adds sauce and cheese of your choice, then the next person adds toppings of your choice. Extra sauce or toppings do not change the price.

Then they throw your pizza in the flat oven (not conveyor belt). And then shout your name when it’s ready and ask if you would like any sauces drizzled on top.

The bathroom was clean and provided paper towels which I prefer over hand dryer so that’s cool. There wasn’t adequate space for people waiting on their orders though. So I had to stand in front of a table and set my drink on it. Luckily no one needed it but if they did, that could have been awkward. I was standing by the bathroom so it still did end up a little weird. But really that would probably happen at any restaurant. Just something to keep in mind if ordering to-go at dinner time.

Looks like they offer curbside pickup, as well as a drive-up window for order pickups. I can’t imagine curbside would be too fresh though considering all the employees inside looked busy hard at work.

Overall if you’re looking for a deal on pizza, $10 for an 11-inch pizza ain’t bad. Then again, a medium 12-inch pepperoni at Papa Johns is $7.99 right now for 1-topping and a 3-topping large is $15 so it just depends on what you want.
