Van's Pig Stands-Norman

I ordered the half rack of ribs and they didn't have that smokey taste I was looking for but the food was hot (which is huge for me) and tastey. The family atmosphere was great and Lisa was simply amazing.

Typically that are exceptional. The only real drawbacks are that they have pretty bad tea, and that their fries are often greasy.

Their meat is always good, and the staff are always friendly. The drive-through is a very nice feature.

I had the rib dinner with beans and potato salad. The potato salad was really good and the beans was fair. What was the disappointment was the ribs. They had a good taste to them but they were so greasy it was ridiculous. I cannot recommend them. This should be only 2 1/2 stars but will make it 3 because the potato salad was excellent.

I went in for the first time the other day with some friends for lunch and although they were pretty busy, we didn't have to wait long at all. We all got the pig sandwiches and they were pretty good! The fries were amazing! The price wasn't bad at all. Actually pleased with the meal! Would recommend them for a quick sandwich and great fries!

It's been years since I've stopped by. The food was good and the staff was friendly. There was one employee that stood out to my family and I. His name is Justin and he went above and beyond with service: wiped the high chair down for us without us having to ask. Brought us wipes for the kids, asked if there was anything we had needed through our dining experience, cleaned up around the place with a smile on his face. I was very impressed with his kindness and work ethic. You don't see that often these days. It was a big relief to go to an establishment that have thoughtful employees and good food. Thanks Justin and Vans employees for your hospitality. Will be returning in the near future.
