“Delicious food with a quaint and welcoming atmosphere! We had fried catfish, mashed potatoes with white and brown gravy, chicken fried steak, grilled green beans, waffle fries, cole slaw, and brownie/cookie desserts. Although we preferred the white gravy over the brown, it was all very good, especially the catfish and chicken fried steak. Can't wait to try their burgers, as we saw one come out for another table and it looked amazing! We'll definitely be eating here again and hopefully soon!”

“It's been a minute since I've dined at The Service Station. I don't know why. This place is a local classic, with wonderful staff, great food, and exceptional drinks! I like tequila and margaritas. It's hard to find anywhere that doesn't just keep margarita mix on tap (yawn). I LOVE that my drinks were actually mixed and made when I ordered them! Other drinks at the table were also fresh and wonderful. The food was really fantastic - very fresh! Everything on the table was worth coming back for! This place makes you feel at ease. I'm coming back to try the other 6 dishes I wanted to order last night. And they were so nice to send out a small sample of their chicken salad to try because I couldn't make up my mind! Definitely get their chips and salsa appetizer - both are made fresh daily! YUM!”

“Love hanging out here but it could stand a few improvements! The tables in the upper section need to be rearranged, possibly in a "U" shape to allow more room for dancing. Sound system is awful and they could play much better music during the band breaks. Its obvious that people want to dance so why not be more accommodating for everyone. Mixed drinks need improvement as well! Bartenders are very friendly and the food is always good!”

“One of my favorite restaurants and health food places ever, let alone Norman. The food here is healing and delicious. The staff are warm and helpful. This is a small business with a lot of love in it that has been around a long time and the history and passion shows. “Laughing Tomato is the healthiest dining option on campus (being just a rebranded Freshens), though you pay dearly for it. The pitas and wraps are rather small given the cost, but they're fine otherwise. The fresh smoothies are the best part of Laughing Tomato, if you have extra meal points or just don't need a full meal. Otherwise I usually get the chicken Caesar salad.”
