La Cantina Mexican Restaurant

I came in on a Tuesday and found myself having an emotional break down, the owners and waitresses came to my table and gave me hugs and words of encouragement. Maria the owners wife took care of my check and said she notices i come here often and she was concerned. The waitress took my number so they could call to check on me later.. upon leaving i felt much better... this is definitely a family place.... ill be here every Tuesday... thank you guys

Its an ok place for a quit lunch but its nothing amazing or anything. Los tres is better

Love, love, love me some La Cantina!! Lawton isn't exactly known for it's Mexican food, but if you are craving good Mexican food this is the place to find it!!

This may be attached to a hotel, but this restaurant is a small, locally owned business. You won't see excessive staffing here, but customer service is always up to par. Often times, you will see the owner out on the floor serving tables! If you are looking for a place with fabulous food, strong drinks, and great customer service then honestly, this is your place to go.

Right from the get go, they start you off on the right foot. Hot, fresh chips. Chilled, perfectly seasoned salsa- not too hot, not too mild. They have an awesome menu to choose from, although I'll be the first to admit that for years I was the fajita queen (they are so stinking good!!) Only recently did I start experimenting with other items because, well...I was missing LIFE!! I will ask the owner to surprise me with something great (I'm so indecisive. I love me some good food) and he always steps up to the plate and exceeds my expectations. I have yet to have a meal that left me disappointed.

This is honestly a great establishment that I feel like too few people know about. They support military, have a large room for parties, can serve up a mean long island ice tea, have margaritas the size of fish bowls...and they are locally owned. I have yet to find anything negative about them.

I'm from Texas so..... But for OK the food was good! The man that sat us, took our order, brought out the food, busses tables, gives refills, was working his butt off, despite there being 3 other employees standing around.. I asked if he owned the place he said he was a co-owner. I said are you the only one working? He said no, that the employees there were his son, daughter in law, etc. All family. That explains why daddy was doing all the work! He unexpectedly gave us a discount which was nice. We did wait a long time to give our order, although the other employees walked past our table several times. Nice restaurant, nice owner! Kids get to work!
