The silver spoon serves real good food. It is definitely like having a silver spoon in your mouth mmmmm. ????
Good food, a little pricey. The atmosphere is nice and I would think a good place to bring a date. Even though it is a bit pricey it is worth it. I had steak and it was good and the asparagus was cooked just right. I would suggest the Shrimp Stuffed Jalapeños as an appetizer. They were delicious!
I love the food here. The Layton on the wait staff is amazing, the food portions are big, and the dessert is amazing. They have live music on Friday evenings and offers a relaxing bar lounge upstairs with delicious drinks.
This place was phenomenal! The food was absolutely delicious and the wait staff was terrific too! I love the 50's style romantic type music that they play while you're dining and the decor mimics the same... a romantic quaint little place for you and possibly a significant other.... be sure to check it out if you're in the area. I would definitely go back!!!
So there aren't many places in Lawton that I would consider "nice" restaurants, or upscale places. The silver spoon isn't quite there as far as "fine dining" or "exquisite" food goes, but they do well. The atmosphere is nice, and the love music was great-- an acoustic guitarist playing James Taylor covers and what not. The food was good, but it's the reason I docked a star. To charge over 25 dollars for a steak, you have to have more than volume. I'm expecting a perfectly seared, well-seasoned steak with great flavor both from the cut and the cooking. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked medium-rare like I ordered, but the cook on the steak was not great, and the the seasoning was lacking. It was a large, thick cut but still: there is more to price than volume. The roasted potatoes and asparagus were overflowing with flavor, more so than the steak! My wife had the steak burger and said it was great. We ordered the Blondie to go for desert and it was amazing. I highly recommend the silver spoon for a very nice night out; but go for something hard to find like the scratch made pasta or seafood--save the steak for the cast iron at home!
