The Old Plantation Restaurant

Great food and atmosphere. We visited during Labor Day weekend and enjoyed the live music. Fast service and clean facilities too. Great for visiting friends and family.

The food is good every time we go, and the service usually is, too. The beer could be colder. The appetizers are enough to fill up on. A good place to get a ribeye or fillet... Good sweet tea, local craft beer from Oklahoma City. The dining hall can get crowded quick, bet we have yet to have to wait for seating.

This place is located in a nearly hidden place in the Wichita Mountains surrounded by a wildlife refuge. It is a nice drive and you will see longhorn, prairie dogs, and buffalo. The village is a small, quaint place with a neat history. Now to the food. The ranch is awesome for you ranch lovers out there. The yeast rolls again yummo! Skip for fried green tomatoes as they are the kind with heavy breading. Do enjoy the fried okra and drum roll for the awesome chicken fried chicken. It was pretty stellar, only complaint on the dish is that it could use a little less salt. The wait staff are curious and are as attentive as you want them to be.

We had a great time! Great customer service...great food. Our waitress(can't remember her name) was awesome! The food was excellent! I had the Bacon Cheeseburger. I had it cooked to Medium...came out PERFECTLY! My wife...the birthday girl...had the Grilled Chicken...she loved it! The atmosphere was amazing! The prices for food and drink were very reasonable. Our waitress made sure that we had everything we needed. We would most DEFINITELY go back there again...this time with our kids as well. Keep up the good work you guys!

Ordered the burger and wasn't disappointed! It was plenty big enough, advertised as 1/2 pound, and very flavorful. They cook them fresh to your liking and you get a good sized order of fries with the burger.
The pricing wasn't too bad, at $19 for 2 cheeseburgers with fries, and another in my party got a plate of loaded fries for an appetizer and it was delivered piping hot with plenty of bacon and cheese. There was enough loaded fries for four people AND had leftovers.
Service was AMAZING.
