Sams never let's me down! Great food, people are polite AF, and the restaurant was super clean! 👌
Wait was a little on the longer side but the food definitely was worth it!
Sadly the were out of hush puppies though ... dang it haha those alone are worth the trip to Sams!

Stopped in while walking around the Route 66 Christmas Chute because the smell drew us in. The fish was amazing! Crispy on the outside and flakey on the inside. The shrimp were huge and fried to perfection. I loved the red beans and rice and the green beans. Everything had so much flavor. The food is served in to-go containers even if you dine in. Not a big deal, though because you’d most likely be taking some home, anyway! I’d definitely go back if in the Sapulpa area!

Sam’s has the best fried catfish that I’ve had in a very long time. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there during the Christmas Chute so there was a limited menu and I didn’t get to try the Mac & Cheese. We did get hush puppies, fries, and green beans which were all great. They have a spicy tartar sauce that goes great with the catfish that I highly recommend. The fried chicken strips are very good too but I’m partial to the catfish.

I always try to be honest in my reviews. The service and atmosphere was awesome. However the burger reminded me of the quality you get at the food shack at a swimming pool or fair. The burger patty itself was highly processed and tasted like something frozen out of a box you would buy in the cheap stuff at the grocery store. For the price you would expect a true handmade burger patty. Fries were also pretty skimpy and the drinks were expensive but did come with free refills. Other local options available and will be trying those next visit instead.
