Food is good prices are good service is better then average and the coffee and desserts are Fab.

We were on a short weekend trip, looking for a place with outside seating or the ability to "social distance". We came across Matt's place and it worked out great. It was clean, had great catfish, and nice staff. It wasn't fancy, which was fine by us, and the prices were good. Quite happy we stopped there.

I picked this restaurant purely by chance but was truly surprised by the food. The decor is spartan but I came in hungry and was not disappointed. I had the swiss and jalapeno burger with onion rings while my hubby ordered two catfish fillets with fries and baked beans. The onion rings were crispy and delicious. The burger was well seasoned and very tasty! I tried a bite of the catfish and was delighted by it's moist, flaky interior texture. Next time I'm in the area I'm going to ensure I'm there for breakfast!

My first time here and it was lovely . We were there for breakfast and were seated and served promptly. Our waitress was delighrful. Upon ordering our food was served quickly, hot and delicious!

Edit 1: Came for lunch, was happy with everything again, fried pickle app, old-fashioned diner burger, onion rings and BLT. Everything was good, The diner burger was a bit dry, but still good.

Have been excited to try this place out, this is the newest restaurant addition to Grove. My absolute favorite breakfast is Chicken Fried steak, I had heard they had good ones so I couldn't wait to try, it was amazing. Took 24 minutes by the time we sat down, until we received our food. The service was excellent, and all of the food we ordered was excellent. The CFS had this beautiful crispy breading, excellent hash browns, and biscuits with sausage gravy. The rest of the table had a pancake, which was extremely fluffy and wonderful, as well as french toast with bacon. The bacon was everything you could want and more from a restaurant bacon order, the fresh toast was crispy and fluffy at the same time, excellent job. I can't wait to try more. My only complaint is the booths are very very small, 4 adults would have a hard time dining together. I am short, I couldn't imagine a larger person being comfortable in these things. I witnessed a few tables sit in them and then get up and move with the same complaint. Very minor complaint, the food was where it was at! Thanks for a great visit.
