(December 7, 2021, 1:51 am)We returned to Talahina after roaming the trails around town. Were not hungry but I happened in TaliMena Mercantile. It is a very lovely little restaurant and the owner offered us a meal. I told her we weren’t hungry yet and as she was getting ready to close we regretted not being able to eat there. She wrapped up a stuffed pork dinner for us for later along with a pineapple upside down cake. It was delicious and pricing is very reasonable. She was very gracious and then opened up her gift shop where i found gifts for family. As I said, she was actually closing but took time and made a great impression on us!
