They’re super efficient on waiting on you. Food was delicious. I had the bacon cheeseburger with great flavor and they grilled the buns with butter . The queen was awesome . The wings looked good but I didn’t have them .
Classic Cartoons playing on the tv closest to us… bringing back nostalgia of better and younger years. Big Red on tap….another throw back !
All kinds of alcoholic slushees… go check them out! Wister definitely scored a gem with these guys! Lake people … their burgers would be a great way to end the day at the lake! Their parking lot is big enough for your boats too🤩

I was excited to see someone make an investment in Wister as the area is awfully short on decent places to eat. After a few recommendations from friends I decided to stop in and give the place a try.
They have really done well with the decor and general feel of the place. Clean and sharp both inside and out….I’m thinking things are looking up, I’m excited to be here….but here’s where we go downhill.
The waitress took a full 10 minutes before even taking a drink order, and had a generally poor demeanor as if she were doing us a favor by taking the time to do so.
Ordered (3) appetizers, 4 burgers w/fries, and drinks.
20-30 min later….no refills….no food….not even a “how are you doing over here” or even a smile.
Another 10-15 minutes and our burgers arrive (no word on the missing appetizers) and one of them is missing the fries entirely. No offer was made to correct the error. I guess that person didn’t need any fries.
Now, the people that did receive fries got to experience the disappointment of them being soggy and cold (not many things worse than cold fries).
On a positive note the burgers were actually excellent so one can only imagine what the place could be like if they could just get this pesky “friendly service” thing figured out, or understand that fries are better hot.
After everyone had finished, the check paid ($75 + tip), and my group was leaving someone arrived with those elusive appetizers and asked if we still wanted them…something about appetizers at the end of a disappointing experience just doesn’t quite hit the same.
Through the entire process there was never a smile, never an “I’m sorry”, never an offer to make things right, or anything that even hinted that ensuring a good experience mattered to this staff in any way.
It’s a shame really, it’s a nice place.

Update!
Went in today and even though the place was busy we were greeted immediately with a smile, seated, and drink orders taken within just a few minutes. Food came out quickly and correct, waitress never let drinks go below half full and was professional and pleasant the entire visit.
Food great, service great, and opinion of the place has been adjusted.
Not sure what happened on the first visit but the difference was night and day.

This is our first time to eat at Iggy’s . We were not disappointed, the food is awesome .

Iggy's is a nice place, atmosphere is friendly and inviting and the service was quite good, they even seated us 5 mins before close on a Sunday night. I'm subtracting 2 stars due to the food. The fries where bland, and stale. The burgers where okay, but they tasted and looked like a standard frozen patty you would buy in a box from Walmart. They also said that they could not grill the onions because they are purple onions, witch makes no sense. I think Iggy's can be the go to spot in town but they just need to iron out some kinks. Fairly decent prices.

Great chicken fried chicken homemade pork rinds great service very friendly I would highly recommend it. Not to mention great selection of frozen drinks.
