Super cute place- 2 experiences here- first one I was the only customer in the place- lady at counter was not friendly at all- but coffee was great, so I thought maybe she’s having a bad day????- yesterday my husband and I went in the place was packed- very impersonal experience again- I’d think for a small business downtown you should at least be nice to your customers- asked the lady about coffee beans twice - she completely ignored me-she proceeded to ask what kind we had on the counter so she could get them in the register/ we definitely wanted some more basic coffee not such sweet ones - as we were leaving we did notice there actually was a less sweet coffee but didn’t want to try and confuse the lady by trying to Exchange- the coffee we got hot was once again great but service awful- with as busy as it was yesterday I felt very uncomfortable and we felt rushed to make a decision and then get out !

I usually find smaller, locally owned coffee shops on par with, sometimes worse than Starbucks. Rick’s, however, is amazing! It is the best coffee I have ever had. The Highlander Grogg makes a great cup of coffee for home. The cherry cordial is my favorite treat. The prices are a tad high, but well worth the treat.

A nice spot for a coffee and chocolate break. They have a good selection of coffees, a few light lunch items and a reasonable selection of chocolates, all made in-house. The chocolates are tasty, maybe a bit soft so if you're planning to do take away and you're going any distance I'd be sure to have a small cooler bag with a cold pack just to make sure the pieces don't stick together. A pleasant spot for a break

Stopped here to take my friend the wurtle that she loves. I enjoyed an iced sugar free caramel latte. Definitely better to go on a cheat day. It smelled amazing and had so many goodies.

Rick's brews great coffees and teas. The coffee never tastes burnt and their specialty drinks are delicious. The atmosphere is nice too, so if you're looking for a place to sit and sip your drink check Rick's out. They have a fine selection of chocolates and other treats as well.
